We take your privacy seriously. Yes, you've probably heard that before, but we really mean it. In fact, this website does not currently use any form of tracking technology.

We do not currently collect any data from end users. This is subject to change, and any changes will be clearly publicized with appropriate controls to allow opt-in.

But you remember me?

You may have noticed that when you return to the site, the various calculators remember and automatically fill out the values you last set. This is all maintained and stored on the client side, you can find the data persisted in your browser's local storage. That means your browser can be helpful and save you having to re-enter all your details if you use the same machine. If you use a different browser or an incognito session, you will notice all the inputs reset to default.

How does it work?

All of the calculations necessary are performed client-side, so other than images and the raw site contents itself, you never need to make additional requests to the server. This allows hosting costs to remain minimal which is currently necessary, at the expense of certain features like cross-browser synchronisation.

Can I help?

Absolutely! This calculator is currently in active development, for feature requests and bug reports, please see the public github repository.

This website is run, maintained and hosted publicly, for free, without any tracking or advertising, to allow as many people as possible to benefit from these tools. Efforts are made to minimise operational costs, but these are not insignificant! I hope to keep this site free from third-party tracking and advertising, and instead find other sources of funding for hosting and to maintain the application.
